Superintendent – Southwest Florida
Role & Responsibilities
- Supervise, plan, organize and control all resources and logistics (people and materials) for the successful execution of a project.
- Lead subcontractors to ensuring project quality, schedule, budget, safety and exceptional client experience goals are met.
- Complete take-offs and order materials timely for jobs.
- Create and manage schedules, prepare RFI’s, review and process Submittals and Shop Drawings.
- Prepare, daily and weekly project record and reports.
- Ensure workplace safety and compliance with Company Safety Policies and OSHA job-site requirements.
Qualifications & Education Requirements
- 1–3 years of construction field experience preferred (internships, trade experience, or entry-level roles welcome)
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team-oriented environment
- Organized, proactive, and willing to take initiative
- Comfortable using smartphones, tablets, and construction-related software (Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Office, etc.)
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Willingness to work outdoors and on active construction sites in varying conditions
- A team player who takes pride in craftsmanship, safety, and execution
- A strong work ethic and commitment to Marmer Construction’s values of quality, accountability, and professionalism
