The construction industry is facing a critical need for well-trained and skilled professionals across all trades. At Marmer Construction, we are committed to supporting local students and helping build a brighter future for our community through this scholarship initiative. 

We are pleased to offer scholarships of up to $5,000 to deserving seniors graduating from each Highlands County high school who are pursuing a career in the construction industry. 

Eligibility Requirements

  • Applicant must be a graduating senior from Avon Park High School. 
  • The student must plan to attend a trade-school, college or post-secondary educational institution that offers construction trade experience no later than the fall semester or quarter following receipt of the scholarship. 
  • Completion of the scholarship application form and submission of one (1) letter of recommendation are required. 
  • Proof of enrollment must be provided to the school bookkeeper, as the scholarship check will be issued directly to the institution the student will attend.

Where do I submit my application?

Submit all applications to your High School Guidance Department.

Upon receipt of your registration, the high school bookkeeper will issue a check directly to the college.
No, you can only apply for the high school you are graduating from.
