The name “Marmer” is a fusion of the founders’ names, Marty and Merideth, symbolizing the partnership that brought the company to life. Marty, with his entrepreneurial spirit and extensive experience in real estate investment, development, and construction, has driven the company’s growth and innovation. His forward-thinking approach and ability to identify opportunities in the construction industry have been key to Marmer’s success.
Merideth, on the other hand, brings a methodical, numbers-driven expertise to the business. With a Master’s in Accounting and a background in financial management, she ensures that Marmer Construction operates efficiently and sustainably. Her strong foundation in processes and procedures helps the company maintain financial integrity and precision across all projects. As the company’s CFO, Merideth oversees everything from project accounting to compliance, ensuring that Marmer meets its financial and operational goals.

In 2008, Marmer Construction was founded in Sebring, Florida, a small city in Central Florida. Although the construction market faced an unprecedented downturn that year, the Marmer team came together to establish solid policies and procedures aligned with our mission statement, laying the groundwork for our future.
